NEW YORK - approximately five million iPhone users expected to have downloaded the Skype application of the new 3G released last week. Skype Web applications enables our customers to make skype calls via operator's 3G network, previously they could only use the service using Wi-Fi.
"The application has been in the millions of people download it today, and it was a positive thing," said Russ Shaw, Skype's general manager for mobile, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday (06/03/2010).
Shaw said the area most widely downloaded them, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
