Jakarta - Manufacturers of home phones Finland, Nokia, rumored to be seeking a new chief executive officer. The move comes after their current CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, still not managed to create attraction in the upper-class smart phone market.
Nokia continues to try to boost sales of mobile phones more than other manufacturers reported to have failed to compete with rivals like Apple and the progress of Google in the manufacture of the device operating system.
"They're serious about change," said a source close to the issue. "Members of the board of Nokia asked to make a decision at the end of the month," he added.
Quoted 'detikINET' from Wall Street Journal, Tuesday (20/07/2010), a technology company CEOs in the United States reportedly has rejected the proposal because it is unwilling Nokia moved to Finland.
